i got 3 stitches between my thumb and pointer finger and due to come out this saturday scard half to death

Nope, some people think it hurts just a tad, barely, but take it from someone who has had a loooooot of stitches(I'm verrry accident prone)...your scaring yourself for no reason, when you have them taken out you'll realize it wasn't as bad as you thought. but don't get me wrong, your gonna feel it but it's less painful then a needle. Calm down and don't worry!

You will be fine hon. If you feel anything, it will be the stitches pulling through and NO pain. And the shorter the time they have been in, the less you feel. So if it's only been like 7 - 10 days, they will just come right out~
I just had 19 stitches removed from my right hand ring finger. I tried to cut the end of it off and they had to stitch my fingernail directly to my finger to keep everything intact. When they finally took the stitches out (20 days later) it did burn a little, but it wasn't anything I couldn't take.
So you should be fine hon. No worries.~

No, as a matter of fact you could take them out yourself. Just get some tweezers and small, sharpe scissors. Clip on one side of the knot and pull out with the tweezers. It doesn't hurt at all. I've taken out plenty of stitches.

At most you are going to feel the filament rubbing your skin on its way out. Unless of course the doctor is really nice and freezes the area along with placing an anticoagulant to lubricate the filament.

Don't be scared...most of the time you feel nothing at all.
I once had stitches and I waited too long to get them removed, and my hand was infected...now THAT hurt. But that was the only time ;)

I had stitches at the crease between you ear and your head!
it doesn't hurt AT ALL!

It doesnt hurt but it feels wierd. Just kinda like thread pulling through your skin. I am sooo scared of stuff like that and it didnt hurt me at all. Dont worry!!

Actually the weird part is it doesnt hurt at all. It makes you feel all weird inside because they are pulling these string out of your skin and not feeling anything but this pulling of them pulling them out.

Don't watch and you probably won't feel it. It really isn't a big deal, at most a mild, very minor stinging that's really over before you even feel it.
