I wouldn't slam a door at all to make a point. It sounds as if the kid next door needs to be slammed INTO a door, that might effect a cure to his problem or at least give you some peace and quiet while he's recovering!

I'm a little confused because I thought HUD was low income housing -- how can someone get HUD aid for a summer house? If you're positive it's against regulations, contact HUD, also do you think there is drug activity going on there? If you suspect drug activity with all the cars coming and going call the police and tell them what you suspect and WHY. Unless you're in a high crime area, most departments would be happy to send extra patrols through to survey the situation. As for asking them not to park on your side -- you don't own the parking spot in front of your house (sorry), so anyone is allowed to park there. Good luck -- hopefully these neighbors won't last long.

I don't slam doors, my children and husband have been known to , though i say to them, it does not bother me , the only person you are upsetting is the neighbour. So they only do it once in a blue moon. I find leaving the door wide open has more effect, or shutting it very quietly when the people in the room are expecting you to slam it!

I sometimes do a cirlcle of the entire house convincing myself that i'm looking for something in anger, but I just realised its to slam all doors, draws and cupboards on route, to show my anger!
You are now my councillor dude. Cheers!

Well when I was a kid slamming doors was a capital offense, so if my point was to get a @$$ beating it would be once.
