Oh, I believe in his existence. I just don't believe in his divinity. He was a nice Jewish boy, an ordinary man of extraodinary compassion, and the people who call themselves his followers would do well to pay more attention to what he said and did than how he died.

I like Croatan's asnwer, with this as an addition - most people believe that Jesus walked the sands of the Mideastern deserts. What becomes difficult is his claim to be the son of God. If that is true, how did he manage to have two fathers, Joseph being the other one?

Can you PROVE his existence. Without a shadow of a doubt ? I can prove dinosaurs existed. I can prove an ice age happened. I spend time on things that ARE.

I think most open-minded people would agree that there was a historical person named Jesus. Anything beyond that is speculation and properly belongs in the arena of faith.

Like someone else said.. there are many who do believe a man named Jesus walked the earth but do not believe why HE was sent. That is where faith comes in.
