I agree, I think it's more important to get guys some rest and be ready to bring their game to the post season.
However, I have a deep feeling that if they get past Cleavland, The Yanks are going to be facing the The Angels anyway. Anaheim has been playing tough ball all season.

To say that you don't want your team to win the division is ridiculous...you are either just a bandwagon fan or trying to fool yourself because your team is in second. Also, considering the pitching the Indians have, I would rather my team face the Angels than the Indians (remember...good pitching almost always dominates good hitting when it comes to the playoffs)...6-0 during the regular season means nothing...the Indians will have home field advantage and a pretty tough 1-2 pitching punch....the Yankees could easily find themselves down 2-0 quickly in the ALDS.

Be very careful what you wish for Yankee fans. Cleveland has been hot for the last month and their pitching is stellar. Remember the saying, "pitching wins championships". Right now the only starting pitcher you can TRULY depend on is Wang. The season means nothing. Ask the 2004 Sox and the 2006 Cardinals. It's all about which team rises to the occasion when the playoffs start.

I wanted them to win division but considering they were at one point 14 1/2 games out & just about counted out for baseball play-off contention by Yankee haters & to get wild card is good. Bring on the Indians, who are 0-6 against Yankees this year. Go Yankees!!!!!!

I just want to lose in the 1st round.
Being 6-0 against a team in the regular season MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!
Look at the yanks and Tigers last year!!!

You never know who's gonna get hot in the playoffs!! I don't take any team for granted! don't you remember last yr? how badly i wanted our team to play the Tigers, and Not the Twins.
I felt the Twins had better pitching, and look what happened to us! Kenny Rogers of all the Pitchers,i never dreamed he'd shut us down! It's all about who's gonna get hot! And about those halos? They can't win every playoff game we play them in! Boston's 2004 team proved that with us!!

i agree and the regular season and playoffs are two different season anything can happen as a Yankee fan stand point just happy there in the playoffs who is not , but last year the Yankees dominated the tiger as in 2006 regular seasons and in the postseason the tigers dominated the Yankees so lets just hope the Yankees mystique and Ora and momentum can take them far

Every Yankees fan should care. There is no home field advantage in the playoffs going in as a wild card and sometimes that one extra game at home is what it takes to win a short series.

Yanks just don`t have the pitching to go all the way, there are teams with much better pitching than them.

Good point! I was at the game last night. What a slug fest on the part of our Yankees. 12-4 win. Jeter was the show.
Fact is the Yankees are playing great baseball and hopefully will take their game into the playoffs. I like what I see!
