My views have certainly changed.
Hillary Clinton: I was never a big fan of hers, but I didn’t understand why she was so disliked either. Now I do… All the other democratic candidates that voted yes to Iran, admitted that it was a mistake… Mrs. Clinton, voted yes but did not say anything... After the failure we had in Iraq, don’t you think you’d consider these things before you vote YES to Bush’s resolution that would enable the first steps to go to war with Iran? Mike Gravel called her out on it.. I understand many people feel that Iran is a threat, but after the lesson we learned in Iraq, the other candidates suggested that we need to go about it another way and our economy cannot take another war… Not to mention she can’t answer hypothetical questions
Barack Obama: I thought he was the biggest disappointment of the night, I’ve already researched his voting record and found that his ideas of “change” conflict with each other. He didn’t even bother to show up to vote on the Iran resolution, How are you going to change things when you don’t vote? And this is not the first time this has happened.. I feel like he dodges these things so he can avoid the hard questions.. There is nothing “progressive” about this candidate, one who voted to reauthorize the Patriot Act.. One who anytime you ask a question either blames the problems on this administration or just sells the idea of “change and freedom” He can’t even answer a question directly..
-Not to mention both of them cannot even clarify that we would have troops out by 2013, SIX YEARS LATER!! Or even by their second term… I understand that it will take time… but all the other candidates like Biden outlined a proper strategy, which neither Barack or Hillary could do… They gave unclear answers to almost any question they were asked, like social security…
I was extremely disappointed and I don’t understand how these two can manage to be the top tier candidates…

Edwards clearly rocked the debate! I am so psyched that he truly has a chance now because he would be the best change for this country!

Not a huge change for me. I have always been a big supporter of Joseph Biden, it's just unfortunate that due to the rock-star status of the other front-runners, it appears that he will be relegated to possibly VP, but most likely Secretary of State or Defense.
I thought that Edwards made a strong showing, really dispelling most, if not all of what Hillary said in a bold effort to over-throw her and take away some of her momentum. He's really catering to the "little guy", those in the lower and middle classes, kind of the working man's hero, which is fine with me.
Obama played it VERY safe, and appears to be a Vice Presidential candidate at this point.
The one that further harmed her image, for me, and for a lot of people i think is Hillary Clinton. Could she have POSSIBLY been more vague? I am so sick of circular talk from presidential candidates.
Guys like Edwards, Kucinich, et al are being aggressive and assertive. Hillary is player a prevent type defense where she isn't committing to ANYTHING out of fear that she will harm her already huge lead.
I think this will be the eventual downfall of Hillary.

I agree with you on almost every point you make. Barack did say that he would pull out one to two Brigades at a time until they were all out of Iraq, and that there would be no more attack missions. (I'm not sure of the exact wording, but it was something like that.) I heard he was sick, but really he was not very impressive.
The candidate that impressed me the most was Edwards. I couldn't give a rat's behind if he paid $400 to get his hair cut (although, it's not a very good cut and he should probably change stylist) He's not spending anyone's money but his own.
I liked his stand on Nuclear power and the environment as well as Iran and Iraq.
It's still too early to lock in to one though.

I didnt get to see the whole debate yesterday but honestly do people really vote on the issues? I think people in general ( I am not talking about us political guru's in this chat lol!) vote for who they like, the way they look and how they articulate oh I forgot what party they are in too cause Bush had none of those attributes going for him. So at the end of the day thats how the cookie crumbles unfortunately.

To the Republicans: There seems to be now a consensus that international family members grow to be not used effectively with the aid of the Bush administration, or, certainly, not used in any respect. in case you have been elected President how do you spot the situation of international family members getting used in the middle east, in Russia, and, in Europe? To the Democrats: We spend extra advantageous than a million.4 trillion, thats trillion, funds on social courses in the U.S. And spending continues to be increasing dramtically each year. how are you going to pay for sparkling tasks, stability the funds, and prepare for the social secure practices shorfall envisioned with the aid of 2016?

Hilary is not a good candidate and never was. She has her own agenda and it is not in favor of America succeeding. Social agenda's are very nice but national security is of utmost importance. She seem to play the fiddle of things that seem popular like sucking up to the religious right and then quickly puts that behind her when the popularity wears off. She does NOT belong in the White House!!!

Hillary is THE biggest joke ever played on the American public, second only to Bill.
For her to have the UNMITIGATED GALL to roll out a health care plan AGAIN and hope to dupe all you with it is so flaming hilarious that I fell off my chair laughing. She knows full well she cant make it happen and never will.
For those of you that dont recall, Bill Clinton laid out his major platform for election with it, and then waffled out of his campaign promises by saying Hillary couldnt get it to work. Either way, they BOTH are losers!

I watched a Democratic Presidential Debate on PBS a week or so ago and Barack wasn't even there. I thought that was strange.

Joe Biden. He's alot tougher than I thought he was. I also liked his answer regarding not allowing sanctuary cities to disobey the Federal Government. Joe has my vote.

The only one who I was impressed by in the debate was Edwards. He was agressive and clear and kept coming after Hillary. Almost made me like him. Almost.
