In order to end the liberal media bias should we establish a Truth Agency as part of the executive branch to review and correct all reporting and advertising? For example, they could have changed "General Betray Us" to "General, Hoo-Ray U.S. !!" and avoided a lot of unnecessary anxiety amongst the citizens.

Do you mean like the ironically named "Ministry of Truth" or "mini-truth" from 1984? Let's just revise all free speech away, then we'll revise the Bill of Rights so it no longer guarantees free speech anyway. I can hear the jack boots and I'm scared...

Liberal Media bias? You mean like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, or Hanutty? The only bias is Neo-con bias against the truth. Moveon was a paid advertisement and, for the most part, everything they said was true. Your idea is straight out of "1984." Why is it that cons hate government except when they can twist it to back their agenda?

Crack open a history book and look up "Nazi propaganda". I think they disguised it by calling it the "Ministry Of Truth" too.

People make the mistake of reading a news story and declaring it either truth or biased depending on whether they happen to agree with what are portrayed as facts within the story.

There is no such thing as "unbiased reporting". Never has been and never will be.

As scarce as "truth" is, the supply is always greater than the demand.

Move on. org is not media. They paid for advertisement just like the swift boat ads.

A Truth Agency will only justify the "liberal media"

That was a PAID FOR AD. That had nothing to do with any journalist. Just like the SWIFT BOAT VETERANS were a paid for ad. Under your line of argument, the SWIFT BOAT VETERANS could be construed as liberal media. Apparently paid for advertising that doesn't sit well with part of the population is liberal media. That's bogus.

Some people need to learn the difference between advertisements and the news media. Second, if they'd like a government run news media to spoon feed them only feel good news, move to a communist country.

actual, in the process the Clinton administration, the "liberal" media gave time and area to a myriad of baseless, nonsensical allegations of abuse, scandal and crimes through fact they have been cowed by skill of surprising-wing strategies like your self accusing them of being liberal. tens of millions and tens of millions of greenbacks have been wasted on partisan witchhunts that produced no longer something through fact there replaced into no longer something there, and however the media reported them as though they have been the national Enquirer. bill Clinton's philandering, on an identical time as interior the White domicile and, if any existed, after, has no longer something to do with something, so there should not be reporting on it, and there would not have been formerly. i know surprising-wingers look at issues as betrayal, and that the media could be on one part or yet another, however the media is meant to be objective, so that's no longer available to betray in the event that they are assembly journalistic standards. your finished premise reeks of finished lack of expertise of what the press is meant to do and what their expert standards are. yet we knew that as quickly as your trotted out the previous, drained and frequently disproven cannard of the "liberal" media.
