Giants stadium/Meadowlands, East Rutherford NJ - construction, parking, tailgating?

I already have a parking pass, given to me by the season ticket holder. I'm just worried about time. 8:15 is kickoff. If I'm there by 6:15, will I still get a spot?

Do you have the pre paid parking passes
If not you are in for a frustrating experience.
I used to live in NJ and now out west
But I visit this site often www.nj.com
go to the link for Giants and post.
It is not a fun experience. Then you have to park off site for $25 and take a school bus shuttle to the stadium.
not fun from the postings I read earlier this season.

Man I from NJ and been to plenty of Football games at Giants stadium (JET Games) and if I were you i would get there at 4 and tailgate traffic is a mess plus the construction get there early early early!!!
