maybe it was back in the 50's but that insanity stopped in the 70's when women's rights and the sexual revelution came to the forefront.

ask me ex-husband that and he will tell you not a chance in hell. when i had our 1st son he was in Egypt getting a tan---i was pushing out an 8lb. baby, 2nd son he was there getting 3 fingers broken in my death grip and his shoulder dislocated when i yanked on his arm----the 3rd (our girl) lets just say that you don't try to kiss a woman in labor without her trying to bite your face off, even if you are saying 'i love you'. for millenia women have been being called weak, just realize that this came from the men who TRIED to dominate us

no jst because a mans boby is physicaly stronger a woman cant help that its how we are and girls are MUCH stronger than men in other areas
