if the contractions are within minutes then your having a baby!! :) back pains are normal since your not used to carrying the weight of the baby.. that's why some women are asked to stay in bed on their last few weeks

Yup, you are probably in the early stages of labor. Back ache is very common, as are loose, frequent bowel movements. Usually with the loss of the mucus plug active labor is at most a week away. I'm sure it's going to be much sooner in your case. You probably are having contractions, but it isn't necessary to go to the hospital yet.
Just be prepared for a bit of disappointing news from your doc if she says that your cervix isn't effaced and dilated enough.

If you think that something is going on then call your Dr. They expect you to call first thing in the morning and in the middle of the night. The pressure is a clue so is having to go and nothing coming out. The worst thing you do is go to the hospital and go home the best is to go to the hospital and go home in a few days with baby in tow.
I would say that you will have the baby in the next couple of days.

Honey you are about to be a mommy or so it sounds like it. The Dr. will let you know for sure. But when you go this morning make sure to carry your bags with you as you might be staying. Good luck and Congrats on your new baby.

Sounds like you could be. MY best friend whet in on her due date and found out she was actually in early labor, so it's very possible for that to happen. That's cool, cause only like 8 % of people actually have their baby on their due date, so you might be in that small group of people!

Deff sounds like labor, or symptoms that your body is getting ready for labor. you need to call your L&D department and they will tell you if you need to go into L&D or not. If they don't listen call your MD, usually there is a medical exchange that will reach him or an on call MD.
