Every time i try to run need for speed carbon, it reaches to the main menu stays for a few seconds then quits by itself for some odd reason. I even got the latest patch and the same thing happens. I don't think it could be my hardware since it was able to run well before, as well as that my friend, whose computer is nearly 3 times as powerful as mine, has the exact same problem. Please help. I wanna get back into playing.

ok you have got a problem!
ya this kinda of thing happens with many games and even games like scarface and battlefield 2142 crashed up on me and i use a dell xps 720hc!
well i will try to help as best as i can-
1. Reinstall the game
2. download a crack from the internet-
www.megagames.com
3. if the above two steps doesnt work then i guess you will have to format your pc.......but before that i have to ask you something.......do you have an integrated video card??
4. even if that doesnt help then i guess alas, you will have to buy the game again.....but let me tell you one thing if you want to play carbon you can but you know there are better racers than carbon out in the market and its carbon's predecessor only!!! most wanted!!! that game is awesome....or you can wait a few months for prostreet to come out!!
