Jayden is too popular. All the -aiden names are, haven't you seen all these posts: Jayden, Braedon, Aiden, Kayden, etc. All these babies who have babies choose names like that. Look, unless you make something up completely, you're never going to have something unique. The most you can hope for is something not too common. Here's some help. These are the bottom 20 registered boy names (of 1000) in the US from 2006. The first number is their rank, the second number is how many babies born last year had that name.
981 Korey 186
982 Lamont 186
983 Niko 186
984 Stone 186
985 Blaise 185
986 Shannon 185
987 Anders 184
988 Dion 184
989 Guy 184
990 Mikel 184
991 Cristobal 182
992 Dandre 182
993 Earl 182
994 Hugh 182

You're in luck, I love boys names. I'm looking for the same sort of thing, something unique, not to common, but also not weird.
I like:
Kingston
Kingsley
Cooper
Casper
Cedric
Kaden (instead of Jayden)
Julian
Adrian
Azeriah
Elijah

I think that if you like Jayden, you should use it. I don't think it's a very common name. If you think it is, change the spelling up a little bit. You could do something like Jaiden, or Jaeden..but that's a little too unique for a boy in my opinion. Good luck!

Jayden is a nice name, but I agree, it is becoming too popular. How about Jayson or Jason, it's close to that name. It's also not a weird name and not very popular these days. Good luck and congrats on your baby boy!!

If you want something unique, why don't you find a name you like and just change the spelling. For example, James could become Jaymz. A friend liked the name Tamzin but had heard several other babies with that name so she called her daughter Tazmin. My Gt, Gt, grandmother had the name Elizabeth, and called her daughter Eliza - which is how my second name became Alicia.
That's another thought, maybe not for his first name, but for a second or third, name him for his grandparents; that would make them feel chuffed and give him some pride in his inheritance.
