the present Cricket team(without the trio) has won us the twenty20 World Cup trophy by defeating some of the best teams in the world including the Australians in the semis. Thus the team has full potentials to defeat it once again in its home ground. this is also true as our team performed miserably in West Indies in the World Cup this year(including the trio). But on the other hand this trio is full of experience which may work in defeating a team like the Australians.

In test matches the present team can't beat them; in ODIs probably 1 or 2 out of the seven. If any Twenty - 20s are included, some games Indians may win.
For test matches they may even need Laxman and Kumble.
Dhoni takes considerable risks which may not pay all the times in the bigger versions. If he was not feeling pressure and tension why was he not able to do what Yuvraj has done ?

the pesent indian team is very energetic and if they can win 20 -20 they can leave a mark on 50-50 too.they r no less than the trio.the only thing is they should'nt be over confident

yes they can but it will be risky so its better to play with seniors because they having the experience and very need full for dhoni in taking decisions against mighty australia.
