when i click on refresh button it takes lots and lots of time to refresh.

That would depend on what the heck a refresh button is. If you're talking about the internet browser, it's a little hard to believe anyone would reformat the hard drive for a slow internet connection.

i suggest to run an antispware program.
you can download em from the net.
also turn off the phishing filter, delete all the history, cookies etc
in ie7 click - tools - internet options -advanced- restore advanced settings
