Hm... I think it's not because she is your daughter and that is why he is jealous. I think he just wants to be cuddled and hugged more... Maybe he needs more intimacy and affection. Just a guess. :D Some guys are like that. They want to cuddle, and when they see ANYONE cuddle with you, they wish it was them instead. I don't think he's really weird or anything. I don't think it matters if she was your daughter or not... the thing is he wants more cuddling :D.

He is jealos becasue he is immature.
A self assured man knows that a mother needs to cuddle and adore her daughter.
I think you need to think long and hard about keeping this man in your lfie. Believe me I stuck with a man who just got worse every year. You and your daughters are most important to you in the long run. We all have people that we love but can't be with.
Unless your man grows up and doesn't feel that he is in compitition with a little girl. Can you imagine what he will be More so like this.in the future.

Hon I think you need a more mature man in your life.
Pull up your self esteem and don't ruin your life with an immature creep that doesn't understand that you have a child in your life.

Before you know it, he will be more and more controling.
Get counseling or get out asap.
You and your daugher deserve peace and love.

Holy Moly !!
I DON'T like the sound of this one bit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An ADULT should NOT be jealous of an innocent CHILD !!!!!
I am not you and I don't know all the details of your situation but if I were I'd think very seriously about ditching this guy and looking for a real man who doesn't have head problems.
You don't say how long this has been going on.

The longer you leave it unattended the worse it will get until eventually he starts to hit her around when anything irritates him.
It is NOT my intention to sow seeds of panic . . .BUT . . I grew up in a home where I was bashed black and blue in exactly this same way. I now have hearing loss in one ear as a result.
I feel extremely afraid for your daughter.
IS HE REALLY WORTH IT ??
THINK OF YOUR CHILD !!!
AND NOTE DOWN THE HELPLINE NUMBERS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
...YOU NEVER KNOW !
GOOD LUCK.

It seems like it would be ur 7 yr old jealous of u & ur bf, not the other way around. How old is he? You should talk to him to see what the real problem is. This is an issue that u should get to the bottom of and if he can't get over it distance ur self from him. People harm kids out of jealousy & no one sees it coming until it's done. You don't want that. Please talk to that man ASAP.

he's weird.
you could try talking to him when your daughter is not around.
ask him about his family background, but just say it's because you want to know him better... don't let him think you are probing him about the situation...
it sounds like he has little understanding of simple human affection.
