I think her real mother is involved in Joanna's death.
Really gripping programme though. As the above said, my heart went out to the Bradley Walsh character, he was torn so many ways.
Roll on next week

I have a feeling it may be Alice who killed by accident her mother I do not think it is her natural mom.
I think it is a really good drama full of raw emotions, well acted and put together.
All the things you would think may happen in a tragic case llike this are coming out.
bradley Walsh moved me to tears good bit of acting on his part and a refreshing change for him.
I am looking forward to the ending and expecting some twists at end.
PS: ITV at its best in Drama

Yeah, I watched it last week too. It must be quite hard to know what to do in that sort of situation, because the child already has a home and friends and is happy, so it's sad to tear her away from all that and try to make her into a totally different person.
Very similar to the Maddie case though? Did you notice that?

In some ways it was just heartbreaking to watch, as much as Alices mother wants her it must be so hard because shes been brought up very different to how she would have brought her up and how her other two children are.
I just cant see it all ending up happily ever after, but I suppose in real life it never does.

Yes it was very moving and very well acted. You could see things from all points and I think the storyline is spot on from the characters point of view. It must be very hard to be in that situation from all angles. I wonder if it has ever really happened?

I thought it was pretty good and gripping,I actually think the Dad had something to do with the 'mother's' fall,as he left the room in a huff and maybe went over there to talk to her. I will certainly be watching it next week.

my friend and i watched it and there were so many sides to it where we were like 'imagine if that was you' or 'i'd have said this' and it was very thought provoking thinking of the perspectives of all the different characters. cannot wait to see it next week and find out who pushed her. i think the dad or alice was involved, it is too obvious to be the mum.
