I find her obnoxious because she isn't pursuing truth or justice, but her career, ratings, and her highly made-up face to be in the spotlight as long as possible-in other words, just another American woman.
To me, although a reporter, she is more of the same ilk as Dr. Laura Schlesinger, Laura Ingram, et al.: show biz careerists who rely on a lot of "little people" behind the scenes to make them look "good" for a bored and usually very narrow audience.

I don't really watch her show that much, but I wouldn't describe her as "obnoxious", I would describe her as very passionate about the stories she reports on. I don't necissarily agree with most of her comments and how she goes about her "reporting", but I don't think she should be trashed for standing up for what she believes in.

How is she obnoxious? And about that mother who killed herself, why would she let answers that Nancy asked her get to her so bad that she would do something like? An admission of guilt, perphaps? I think she's honest and real. Something we're not used to seeing when it comes to news stories so that's why a lot of people don't like her. Some people want their news digested for them, Nancy let's you decide. She's not rude and she doesn't talk over her guests (like O'Reilly for example) and I think she stands by her convictions and she's a good rolemodel for young girls.

AGREE , I hope everyone remembers how she pushed that missing boys mom over the edge so bad she killed herself, leaving no possible witness to the whereabouts of the child
