I owe my dad a lot of money, but I never want to get in debt to a bank! When my boyfriend and I first moved in together we couldn't afford any furniture so we bought second hand, or we got old things from family members, or went on freecycle to get stuff, we even went without a tv for months because we couldn't afford the tv license, and we still budget everything we do, like spend no more than five pounds a week on food, but I hope I never ever take out a loan for something like a television or a car because it just seems like such a risk and you end up paying back twice as much as you borrow... I don't want to get involved with banks!

The only debt I have is common debt, I am paying for my house, and 2 vehicles. But I am not in real debt, no.
Those are loans, but I can definitely pay them off. Which is exactly what I'm doing every month!

Yes! Approx. $450,000.00 total. But, real estate mortgages are good debt.
Remember, there's good debt and bad debt. Good debt is debt for things that appreciate. Bad debt is everything else.
