Yes. Part of being a computer tech is confidentiality. Trojans put all kinds of nasty stuff on messed up computers, so they don't blame the owners for finding that kind of thing. If you have files related to plutonium smuggling for terrorists, it might be a different story.

Of course it's possible. Probable? Not likely.

I've been repairing computers for 30 years and believe me, other people's private stuff is not worth reading.

Simple fix, back up all your personal data to CD / DVD and delete it from the hard drive. Then, have your PC serviced.
