Eventually you will realize how much you do NOT know, given the opportunity to open your mind. Some college students at times feel that they are 'invincible' and know everything.

Being under pressure with deadlines, overwork, being tired, etc. is no excuse for arrogance or bad behaviour towards the professors. Take some responsibility for the task you have undertaken and get to it.

"Perhaps one should spend more time doing the work required and less time expressing dismay, being arrogant and giving the prof a hard time" comes to mind.
Also spend WAY less time complaining, chatting on Yahoo!, playing Internet games, drinking beer, necking, socializing, shopping, partying, doing childish stuff, and use the time for what it is meant for--to learn.
Here's a hint: Concentrate and learn how to LEARN.
That is the key, and that is what those 'mean' professors are asking you to do.

I very much agree with . If you're not in college, then you have absolutely no idea what it's like to have people expectations and deadlines hitting you from every direction while trying to keep your sanity and good grades. After 4 yrs of doing this crap, of course we take pride in our accomplishment.
I'm studying at a private university. Spring '07 was horrible. I had more than 180+ pages of reading assignments to do each week with tough core classes. I was getting little sleep. All my friends were out partying on the weekends and getting drunk, while I busted my @$$ gettin an A for that semester. It's a lot of work involved and no wonder a lot of us graduate with a snobbish attitude, cuz we made it through the tough part while everyone else slept thru it.
Some professors actually deserve getting this treatment. Not all, but a lot of them.

Yeah some liberal adult men placed on eyeliner yet some republican adult men marry their sisters - what's your factor incredibly? Are you in basic terms mad that no college many times going on you? do not subject, 'do you like fries with that?' is somewhat not that problematical to undergo in concepts. And the excuses liberals seem down at your ideals is when you consider which you seem down at theirs and that i could desire to upload the caveat that your ideals incorporate evolution isn't a actuality, united states of america is God's land, sexual instruction has no place in faculties and Liberals = Communists = Fascists = Marxists - so incredibly i don't blame them.

They are stressed!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have multi reports due, each 30 to 50 pages all on the same deadline sometimes. Rush, rush, rush from one end of the campus to the other. Pressure, pressure, pressure parents expectations, teachers pounding, and there self esteem is crushed at times. so they are a little snotty, if you are a professional you should remember how it was, if you are not in college then you have no idea so don't take it personal & don't judge!!

because they have been told that the are special, they can do anything they want and if someone tells them no, they are not to believe that person.also they are now an adult so no one has the right to correct them. it is amazing how much someone with no life experience has so much knowledge about everything, or how much the won't know in a few years.
