they both travel at the same velocity, c = 3x10^8m/s in vacuum, since the speed of light is constant
in a transparent medium, like water or glass, the velocity of the light is proportional to it's wavelength
so red light, which has a longer wavelength than blue, will travel slightly faster in a transparent medium
for example, in glass
red light travels at 66.2% of c whereas
blue light travels at 65.4% of c, which is a bit slower

the end
.

The light has seven colors i.e. VIBGYOR. All the colors or components have different wavelengths e.g. red has longest wavelength and blue least and different frequencies. But they travel with same speed that is the speed of light c = 3 x 10^8 m/s

in out of the earth where there is nothing air, both of them go in the same speed(300.000 kilometer in a hour)
but in the air or water ...
n=c/v v=c/n (c=300.000)
n of blue light is bigger than the n of the red light
so blue light speed is less than red light speed.
but in a air you can say nearly they go with a one speed
n in the air for both of them is nearly 1.
c:speed of light in a vacuum.
v:speed of light when light is in water and so on.
n:refractive index.
n of vacuum nearly=n of the air=1
this is why you see 7colours in a prism, because these colours have an different n .
n purple bigger than n blue light bigger than n blue ...n green...n yellow...n orange bigger than n red.

in vacuum, they all travel with the same speed.but usually, blue light which has the least wavelength travels faster than red light which has the highest wavelength and thats y u c the sky blue coz the blue light scatters evenly sooner during the day and red sky during the evening coz red has minimum speed thats y it is used in traffic signals to show danger.
