I'm sure his National League career is over, at least...

He may try to hook up with an AL team, since he obviously can still hit... I'm sure he wouldn't mind reaching 800 homers, but he'd obviously have to to go the A.L. to do it.

There are certainly some AL teams that wouldn't mind signing him for a year. As a DH, he'd be a big draw for fans no matter where he played.

He'll either retire or be a free agent.

It all depends on if Barry Bonds will play for less than what he has been asking for. He can still hit homers, but his fielding is awful now. So, if he does go to another team, it'll most likely be an American League team as their DH. The only team that I think would take him would be the Yankees. Although, I think he should just retire.

As a free agent who can't really play the field any longer, an AL team would be his best bet. Unfortunately his options are slim.

The Yanks have Giambi and a glut of outfielders, and have no room at DH. Ditto the Red Sox with Ortiz, the Indians with Hafner, the White Sox with Thome, and the Angels with Guerrero. There go all of your big market options.

One rumor going around is that the Rangers might be a fit. They have room at DH, a hitting-friendly park, and a proven inclination to spend stupid money. I think it would be awesome to see Sosa and Bonds together in the same lineup!

Free Agent

He is going to be a free agent . San Francisco is the only place he wasn't booed and they didn't offer him a contract . I don't think another team would want him he's no Hank Aaron . When Aaron left the Braves he went to the AL Brewers as a DH but Hank Aaron has "class" and is the true home run record leader .

He will be a Free Agent and supposedly will sign with an American League club as DH (if anyone will have him)

He will be a free agent so he negotiates a contract with a team on the open market

If he decides to stay 1 more year he will go to the American League where he will be a Dh.

No not getting traded. Giants are not offering him a contract next year, so he will be a free agent.

Whoever thinks he won't get offered a deal or his options will be slim are completely out of their minds.

He WILL be a DH next season, and will have more than 2 or 3 offers.
