I have 2gigs of CAS 5 ram right now using 1.8v. Im planning to buy 2gigs of CAS 4 ram 2.1v.

My questions is will CAS 4 and CAS 5 ram work toghether in 1 mobo?

Will both 1.8v rams and 2.1v rams work toghether?

They may work BUT at a single voltage setting, possibly 1.9 or 2.0V. Many good quality 1.8V modules could easily run at 1.9V and some up to 2.0V especially those w/ heatspreaders and in a well ventilated case. You could ruin them at 2.1V.
The 2.1V low latency RAM may possibly operate at CAS 5 when voltage is lowered to 1.9 or 2.0V. You would just waste your money buying an expensive high performance RAM then running it like the value RAM.

Yes they will work together, but the CAS4 RAM will be automatically set to the slower CAS5 RAM, they will both be set to the same Voltage, the faster always slows down to equal the slower, unless you overlock your slower one which may or may not be stable, it just depends on what brand you have and the quality of the RAM.
There shouldn't be any performance issues, but it would be better to have all RAM be the same type, speed, and brand so there could be no possibility of conflictions and they could all work in harmony.
