so 3.1liters + 0.250 liters = 3.350 liters

1 millilitre is 10^ -3 litre.

that is .001 litre.

hence 250 millilitre = .250 litres
adding the two 3.1 + .250 = 3.35 litres

the answer is
there are 1000 ml in a litter
3.1liter means 3100ml
so by adding 3100ml+250ml
we got 3350ml
by dividing 1000 [ 1 litre = 1000ml ]
so 3350/1000
3.350 litre thats is the answer
