Yankee Doodle went to town riding on a pony. He struck a feather in His hat, and called it "Macaroni". The 'it' referred to being the 'feather'.

i think of that Yankie Doodle did no longer call something. It became the guy who wrote the music approximately him that did. After chatting with Mr Doodle, he instructed me that he stated as the donkey Steven. the city became no longer on the map, so he asked a close-by youngster who instructed him to "provide me ya wallet or i will cut back ya!" The feather became unquestionably present in his pocket, with fairly macaroni, which his mum had made for his tea. you notice, it became in basic terms an hassle-free mistake by way of the author.... (to be basic, i do no longer understand)
