Bill O'Reilly is a shock jock whether you want to believe it or not. He says things that are so out there just like Imus used too do. Is it pathetic that since Bill O'Reilly is part of that conservative group I mean Fox that they'll protect him but the people who employed Imus let him go almost immediately. Bill O'Reilly is one of the worst human beings on the planet.

If you haven't heard about it he basically went to an African American restaraunt and was surprised it was just like any other restaraunt he went too. He said that there were no people screaming hey ****** get me more ice tea.

How can some of you say his comments weren't offensive? Bill O'Reilly was acting like he never saw any black people who didn't swear and knew what they were doing. He made it seem like he never met a competent black person in his entire life. He compared the restaurant to every other restaurant. All he could've said was "I ate at Sylvia's and I recommend others to try any dish that they serve. I was skeptic at first because I thought all the quality, along with quantity restaurants resided in Manhattan." It's not that hard Billy boy! But to go on and generalize a group of people was uncalled for. He used black stereotypes and reference to judge all the good patrons of the restaurant like "no one was rowdy and out of control" almost like he was surprised! Give me a break, you people who don't think it's offensive need to take that into consideration. Don Imus saying "nappy headed hoes" is worse than what O'Reilly said? I hate "faux" news, and I'll never watch their programming until O'Reilly and Sean Hannity are off the air. Total Bush brown-nosers. Everytime O'Reilly is asked about his infamous sexual harassment suit he says "don't go there" or makes a threat to that extent. I wish I were on tv, I'd be the biggest loud mouth there ever was. I'd say it and say "bring it on!"

I heavily think of bill O'Reilly is an extremely unwell guy. i could watched him a time or 2 yet then lost interest. I did see a snippet of an argument he replaced into having with Geraldo various days in the past. the guy replaced into actual flinging SPIT in attempting to convey domicile his factors. O'Reilly will self-destruct on his very own. he's a power keg. AND he won't come again. Imus made a mistake yet he has pronounced different issues approximately Blacks that have been additionally offensive. He replaced into is very own worst enemy. He could have considered it coming. yet he did no longer. nevertheless. He won't starve. His cancer stress will flourish and he gets back, on yet another station...yet he gets back. (btw I merely isn't staring at him or listening him whilst he does. certainty is, I by no skill did..until this incident. he's a prior guy. And from what i've got found out so a strategies, he insults various human beings. no longer precisely the form of individual i could prefer to ask to dinner.)

Let's get a grip, people. What Bill O'Reilly said was MRANT to be a complement. Of course it shows his ignorance about his own racism.. But the comment, itself, is not racist. Of course the comment itself, & his (I believe, sincere) attempts to defend himself prove just how racist he is. Imus' comment, on the other hand, was intended to be insulting.

I agree with almost nothing O'Reilly says & I detest what he stands for. I don't watch Fox (or Faux, if you prefer) News because of their extreme bias. My guess is Jesse & Al are tickled to death about Bill's comment & what an *** it makes him look like. What he did was blow even more of his competence & believeability out the window.

C'mon Bill! Let me see you do that foot in the mouth thing again, please?

Imus mearly agreed with a racist remark, while Bill O'Relly did not make one. He expressed a point of view that was in fact anti ractist. However I am not a big fan of either, but less of a fan of the media and people who can not read facts from fiction.

His comments were not that offensive. In fact, if you read the transcript of the show in context with the topic (Prejudice in America), then Bill Orielly was actually pointing out to America that not all African Americans act as they are portrayed on MTV or BET. This is significant, since many whites are under the impression that all black people want "bling bling" and to "pimp hos and clock a grip".

Here, read it again, along with some clarification from Orielly and others:

I don't like Oreilly any more than you. He's an egomaniacal gasbag with nothing but time and anger. One thing he apparently isn't though, is racist; and I'm tired of everyone getting their panties in a wad when someone who isn't black want's to talk straight about race relations and stereotypes in America.

I am no fan of O Reilly's but they picked a line out of context to make it appear that he was racist.

He was commenting on the quality of a restaurant in Harlem, the remark was not racist.

Libs, you really need to find a new way of thought control and censorship, the race card gets more ludicrous and useless every day.

Bill O'rielly is a bigit and has always been one. See he only made fun of one ethnic group... Imus pointed out a team. So i guess Imus should have made fun of one entire ethnic group instead.

Maybe it would help if you STATED the alleged racist comment so others know what your talking about??? Because basically your entire post reads as rant, not a question.
