How can something false be considered as realistic? 1 lady told me that her fiction writing is based on research & that it's not made up. That made me scratch my head. Why do people always give wacky, out the box info on here-they're so wrong! I never heard of fiction being true & realistic.

I think she was talking about the basic facts. For example, if a story is about a woman getting very ill, then the medical treatments and the medical facts in the story could be realistic. The woman and the storyline may be fictional but asll the medical facts would be correct. The names of the medications and treatments would be actual treatments and medications that we have today.

Actually i've read about a case where the movie 'Saving Private Ryan' story came true. Plus fictions sometimes are written based on real events. So it's not impossible that fiction can be realistic.

Yea most books I read are they are something that didnt happen but could. Anything like a girl having a problem with someone else.
