It was a question to do with asking people to give me stars for the fact my friends had to have their dog Merc put down because he had cancer.
I just found out this question was removed when I went through my questions.
I am so peeved off with whoever the **** moron or morons were that reported this to be removed!

UGH!, I'll get over it but jeez what is Y!A coming too?!

You might want to fight it, though the "gimme stars" questions are taken down almost as fast as anything having to do with "avatar games".

The "chatting" thing is poorly defined, and this violating stuff really gets out of hand sometimes.

I noticed your comment on the "wikipedia" question was removed . . . ouch. I didn't do it, don't worry.

You might want to consider going "private" with your Q and A's to protect yourself against the "reporter trolls". That's why I went private with mine, though I get fewer answers to stuff now :/

i'm getting violations each and all the time too, you're able to observe them otherwise. If I submit a hyperlink to a various question of mine i'm getting a contravention yet different ppl do it each and all the time, pisses me off!

I agree that it is getting old when unwarranted... but c'mon... it's right there in the Community Guidelines. Here's the relevant bit:

"Our points system is meant to reward community members for sharing questions and answers, so creating multiple accounts or posting content for the sole purpose of gaining points or soliciting others for points is not permitted. Posting filler answers to a question in an effort to be first to answer, or copying and pasting other members’ answers, are also forms of cheating."

I know you meant well, but Y!A considers questions that directly ask for stars to be cheating. How would the stars on YOUR account help your FRIENDS with their loss?

Sorry, but that's how it is.

"It was a question to do with asking people to give me stars for the fact my friends had to have their dog Merc put down because he had cancer."

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with what that. Why should people give you stars for your friends dog having cancer? That's horribly insensitive to your friend and corrupts everything the "star" system was put in place for.

I don't get it either. Why are you so upset at something virtual? Answer me this. What did you do before Yahoo Answers? What WOULD you do if you had to live WITHOUT it? How does it affect how you go about your daily routine?

Get over it already. Go on with your life. Come to the realisation that getting so upset over virtual stars is stupid.

why would someone report that question? people ask for stars all the time! that's so lame.
sounds like you've got yourself a stalker-troll. you should make all your Q&A's private on your profile page ..... that'll help a little anyways... until they try and add you.

♥hugs♥ i've had a bunch of mine deleted before because someone reported them for fun.

It's probably cause you asked for the star.

I really don't know what Yahoo Answers is coming too.

It's like you have to watch what you say.

Your question had nothing wrong with it.
