No it really isn't. If rapists, child molesters and murders can be saved and forgiven by God then so can someone that masturbates.

It's just a scare tactic, don't buy into it!!!

I think the only thing that comes close to masturbation mentioned in the bible is God putting Onan to death for spilling his seed on the ground, and that was not for masturbating, it was for disobeying God's orders.
So, no I don't think its against the rules of God, he only gave us ten rules and masturbating is not among them.

The practice of secret habits, such as masturbation, surely destroys the vital forces of the system. All unnecessary vital action will be followed by corresponding depression. Among the young the vital capital, the brain, is so severely taxed at an early age that there is a deficiency and great exhaustion, which leaves the system exposed to disease of various kinds.

Foundation Laid for Various Diseases Later in Life. If the practice is continued from the ages of fifteen and upward, nature will protest against the abuse she has suffered, and continues to suffer, and will make them pay the penalty for the transgression of her laws, especially from the ages of thirty to forty-five, by numerous pains in the system and various diseases, such as affection of the liver and lungs, neuralgia, rheumatism, affection of the spine, diseased kidneys, and cancerous humours. Some of nature"s fine machinery gives way, leaving a heavier task for the remaining to perform, which disorders nature"s fine arrangement; and there is often a sudden breaking down of the constitution, and death is the result.

No. There are people who refer to the story of Onan in the Bible as being against masturbation, but most Bible scholars would disagree. This story specifically refers to his duty to carry on the family line, and not to masturbation.

no its not you dope The BIBLE DOESN"T Say THo SHall Not Masturbate anyone who tries to say it does is lying to you and those who think otherwise need to rethink there thoughts as baby boys try when they are starting to crawl as the drag there bums and penis across the floor when learning to crawl first time.

If you feel the need then just do it it beats going out and forcing a woman to have sex or pay for it, you cant get any disease from it other than tennis elbow (if you do it to many times in a day)LOL

No, the act of masturbating is not a sin. Where it can lead to sin is where you let your mind go while doing it.

I have read the Bible may times and it doesn't directly say-do not masturbate.what it does say is not to lust after your neighbors wife (any woman who is not your wife). so it is a very borderline thing i think. if you are reading porn etc then wrong but if you are just enjoying the feeling then maybe OK?
sorry if i have made it more confusing
