Try a little WD40 sprayed into paper towel , rub gently it should work a treat, once used wash affected area with warm soapy water.

I agree with Andrew p another bit of Blu tac will remove the old bit from the wall. Used to work in a school so had lots of bits to remove landed up with quite a bit bigger ball of blu tac by the time I was finished.

I have always used Zippo lighter fluid and a soft lint free cloth to remove this type of stain. It is all dependant on the surface you are trying to remove the stain from.

just try a bit of soapy water, but if the paint is a matt finish then you will have to re-paint the wall.

JML 's magic sponge is supposed to remove all kinds of dirt & marks,woolworth are selling them.If this doesn't work,scrape off as much as possible,clean & then repaint.

If the Wall is porous and has absorbed the blue colouring, I guess you need to re-paint!
