i want to build a small boat to use for fishing in a local lake. it only needs to be big enough for 2 people and some fishing gear.
where can i get plans to build one?

A have a friend up north that built his own out of marine plywood many years ago and still has it...pretty cool little duck and fishing boat.

Buy a jon or like> boat >$100+or- used an start fishing> Building will cost a lot more and heavy and it will take time and space to build>

depending on how much money you want to spend. check out bass pro shop magazine you can order one on line i would recomend a cool kayak easy to learn and its fun to fish from a kayak theres lots of option you can choose from. i have a 14 ft kayak but my kayak is more for speed i did make a some custome work to put a fish finder holder and some holes i made to hold my second fishing pole and one for trolling anyways look into it and you dont need a trailer

check www.craigslist.com under the catagory "free" you might find a free one someone wants out of their yard.
