Your body's reproductive system cleanses itself of all old tissue eggs etc in the form of blood. so it can be ready for another reproductive cycle.
Know this if you are a female during your period you do no go out where there a big cats like cougars, bears, wolves etc. because
That old blood = deep gut wound
deep gut wound = badly wounded animal
badly wounded animal = easy dinner to them when they smell it.
I am a grandfather. and yes have a g.f.

Do you believe this story?? It's not conclusive by any means. There are several logical possibilities, especially considering the era in which this 'occurred'. And the way it is written makes me suspicious of its integrity. It smells of someone trying to write a conspiracy theory, trying to turn something into something else. I don't buy it on its merits. And don't care if it ever turned out to be true. And why is it important for you to know when we think we'll have a second gay president? Or was the question just a set-up, so you could show off something you determined to be knowledge? Keep studying my friend, because eventually, when you find it, the truth will set you free.

A woman is always preparing her body for a baby and building up life-creating material in her body. When there is no sperm to fertilize the egg, the "materials" needed to create life are wasted and they come out of a woman's body in the form of a period. I am 19 and single and don't know s**t about periods.

Basically the body is cleansing itself of the unfertile eggs. You bleed, rather slowly, at least by what I've seen for a few days. Often the woman isn't exactly sure when it will start or stop. It's not on that much of a clock. The worst of the hormonal swings is before your period, which is when you are not recieving a sort of natural high. How's that?

It's when the uterine lining is shed, which usually happens once about every 28 days in non-pregnant women. I'm 27 and I've been married for 8 years.
UPDATE: It has little to do with the egg -- it only happens to coincide with the beginning and end of ovulation.

The egg matures and travels down the falopian tube , to be expelled along with the endometrium ( lining of the uterus ) . There is a change of hormone levels during this period which causes mood swings . The cycle occurs every 28 days.

I'm in a relationship and as far as my age, I'm old enough to have full understanding. as far as what happens during a woman's period......i could explain it to you in exact detail, with the ovaries, hormonal changes etc.....but frankly, I'm way too lazy at this late hour to type it all out. so forgive me please, and just take my word, I understand what happens. i also feel for you that you have to go through it each 28 days or whatever your own cycle happens to be.
