Yes i agree but such is life..People still need to use their intuition with strangers even more so when communicating over the net..All is not what it seems far too many times.

Yes, children should be monitored but they can get a lot of creepy stuff on their cell as well, it is the rude remarks, dirty avatars, stupid advice and mocking of religion that bothers me more, because to some kids these regulars are the only friends they might have or take advice from

Well, if you just used common sense it shouldn't be to much of an issue. I'm sure there are lots of people who become trusting hoping that some sort of ltr will develop, but, if someone you have never met in person starts hitting you up for cash, shouldn't a big alarm be sounding in your head?
Common sense right?

Everyone I met off the internet has been who they say they are & are all good people I think the majority of people are honest I think some people are just paranoid because of bad things they have heard on the news & bad things can happen anywhere at anytime.

While I talk more freely on here, I don't necessarily let my guard down, just like in real life. I know there are people on here that will pretend to be someone else, I just don't know why. I have a hard time trusting people, but once they gain my trust, they will continue to have it until they do something to ruin it.

Yes, some people are too open on the internet for their own good, that's why you have some crimes occurring after finding out where people live or meeting up with people.

I like to read about people who fall for a get rich quick scam. No matter how bad my day has been. It's never as bad as some fool who has lost all their money in a Internet get rich quick scam.

yes a lot of us r too reckless...as u hv said, ppl cn use an avatar, persona or username, n i think dat cn go both ways...a lot of ppl think this anonymity means no1 will evr find em since the WWW is endless....so dey let their guard down n get stuck in all sorts of situations...the killer truth is dat technology has made evry1 hardly anonymous anymore n dis is wat a lot of ppl dnt realize...
