People suffer from betrayal because they put too much trust in people. When a person gives there all and when someone betrays that it's a deep deep scare that is not easily removed. It's like tearing off your arm with no anesthesia. People need to trust and when the trust is gone it makes it hard to cope with reality. People need to learn how to cope after someone betrays them. They also need to learn not to give too much of yourself before getting to know the person you going to put your trust in. When you start to accuse people of doing something wrong with no proof that they have violated your trust. It is the first indication that something is wrong in the relationship. When you are always suspicious of your mate it's another indication you don't trust him or her. When betrayal enter the relationship it takes a good while before things can be mended. However, quite a number of people give up on the relationship because they don't want to trust the person again.
