Yep. I've done it lots of times, and I'd do it again.
Yes, I want it more. Yes, it helps relieve cramps.
Other benefits? Yeah... you're already wet! LOL.
Drawbacks, yeah... it can be pretty messy, and can stain whatever it is you're laying on.
Other options when you want sex during menstruation? ANAL, BABY!

Yes, I have done so on many occasions and hope that I will in the future. Any effect on the cramps was only during the act, strictly temporary. The super lubricity was a benefit to me and the other person, heightening feelings. The only drawback is if you don't take the precaution of using something to stop any blood seepage onto bedclothes etc. (Doing it in the shower is a great alternative!).

I don' t do it when it's like full flow, but I will like the first couple of days, or last couple of days. I warn my husband, and he says it doesn't bother him. It seems like I want it more because it's our "off limit" times. I'm not sure if it helps cramps, but that's what I've heard. Drawbacks would include making a mess, but just put a towel under you so you don't mess up the sheets.

I don't personally like it during that time, it tends to get very messy, but I have had it during that time, and it DID help with the cramps. And yes I have found myself wanting it more when I am closer to my period, about two weeks before, but usually when it gets time for it to come, the want is gone.
It's a personal preferance if a woman and her partner want to have sex during menstruation and I don't see a big problem with it.

I've done it a couple of times during that time. I read in a home remedies book that it is supposed to help with cramps since when you have orgasm, it helps the blood flow. You're already lubricated. It can be quite messy. Just make sure to use condoms.

YES I want it more, yes it does help with cramps , works out some kinks relaxes. Draw backs if you are a heavy bleeder use a condom. With one mate/husband/ man it brings about a closeness but we shuld allow the body time to release what has to come out just not every day and be sure to use a condom and Black sheets. these are great sites.

I definitely want it more around that time of the month and I personally think it helps cramps but we don't care for the mess so shower sex becomes all the more appealing

Its safe health wise, but will be very messy leaving blood on the sheets and WAY more risk of getting a girl pregnant even with protection cause protection has been known to fail.

yes, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having sex during your period, it can be messy, but as long as you throw down a dark colored towel, your good to go. Plus, it REALLY helps relieve cramps, and i ALWAYS want sex during my period (well, i want sex everyday, anyways) but if my boyfriend doesnt like period sex, than i just have anal... no drawbacks to period sex tho!

There is no medical problem with it, the only reason I would not want to is its kinda gross, but if you can get over that fact its great because its almost impossible to get pregnant while menstruating. It also feels better
