Job #1: Your dream job.
Pros: You really enjoy it, and it is something you have wanted for pretty much your entire life.
You never thought you would be in the position to have this dream job, but you are.
You love doing it and would do it for free if you had to.
You feel it is the only thing you are any good and and you love it immensly.
Cons: You don't know if it will work out. You don't make much money, and you don't really have any benenfits such as insurance or retirement.
Job # 2: The Safe Job.
Pros: You know you will always be able to do it. You will always have a steady income that is very well. You get benefits such as health insurance, a retirement, and it really doesn't seem like that hard of a job. In fact, its a pretty cush job.
Cons: You probably wouldn't be very good at it as it involves doing things you are not very good. You probably wouldn't like it very much. It seems to you to be boring and unexciting.
Which choice would you make?

No question about it....Job 1.. Money is overrated, it comes and it goes. I took a huge paycut and lost some great benifits to become a cook. Its harder work, burns, cuts, backpains, less pay, no insurance. But I don't want to do anything else.

Job number one because the most important thing in life is to be happy! You can always look for a job with good benefits in a few years!

Hi
I would take job number 1 because I know what it's like to work at a job that you hate, and I wouldn't do that again. Whatever job I have, I want to love doing it instead of being miserable. Life is too short to have unnecessary misery in it.

Hmm...
thats a tough one.
Well, I guess the Safe one,
because work isnt all about having the job you want is it??
A job is to provide you with money to provide your family
with food and a roof over your head. It can allow you t go on holidays and go out for dinner etc...
As you get older,
you have to understand that not everything is about fun and games.

who says you can't do both?
the safe job you might get better at and start to have fun doing
the dream job might not be the job you thought it was and you will need the safe job for the bennys.

My dream job..even if it doesn't pay well and I don't have many benefits..at least I'd be doing what I love, and that would be incentive enough for me.
