I'll be honest- it has worked for me. My husband and I used it for the two years before we were married and the times I am not on something we return to using it. I will say that in either case we were prepared and ready to have a baby should I get preg..we knew the chances. It defintely not something you can depend on-I think thats where all the warnings come from. But I guess for some people, prolly the ones who know their body best I will say it can work. We've used the method off and on for ten years now.

I had unprotected sex for five years, not even using the pull-out method. Just unprotected sex. And didn't get pregnant the entire time. Started thinking about getting on the pill or something, and I got pregnant. So it might just be chance that you haven't gotten pregnant yet. We had some friends that got pregnant using the withdrawl method within a few months of starting intercourse. It's all a matter of chance. When you're using the withdrawl method, it CAN be up to 80% effective, supposing his physiology allows for it (some men during sex can ejaculate a small bit without knowing it, before getting close to orgasm). But it tends to be a game of Russian Roulette.

I don't believe that method works. I was with my man for 2 years until I became pregnant. We used your method the first 2 times maybe. The rest of the time no protection. We just did as we pleased. He already had a kid. I was able. I think we were just lucky to have gone that long and not get pregnant. Just depends on your body, I guess!

It can work I am with you on this. But there is a chance that you can get pregnant. The only way that I got pregnant was when he didn't pull out. I'm trying for my 3rd now and Having sex 2-3 times a week and still not. It's weird tho when your not trying to have a baby you get pregnant and then when you are you don't.

It worked for us in some ways, but it's not 100% effective.
The FDA has a study that says withdrawl was about 75% effective in a study , and that combining it with other methods like timing your cycle carefully, etc, it can be fairly reliable for some people.
But if you are definitely trying NOT to have a baby, you should think about other methods to further reduce your chances of getting pregnant.
Hope that helps! Cheers!

It does not work, or course, but it sounds like you guys are REALLY lucky (or unlucky if you are actually trying to get pregnant) lol. It could also be the fact that if you guys have sex every day his sperm count is really really low so there's less little guys up there swimmin around tryin' to fertilize the egg...
I've always used birth control and/or condoms so i've never needed to use te pull-out method, but it is very risky. Always use protection.

i dont think you are not getting pregnant cuz your boyfriend is pulling out. you are just lucky. pre-*** does contain sperm as well so even if he does pull out on time everytime you are still at a high risk of getting pregnant. my husband and i used the pull out method for a long time too, but i eventually got pregnant, and not im preggo using that method. so no, it hasnt worked for me! :) you are just really lucky, but not very smart! but one day its not gonna work and you might regret your choice of birth control

So are you trying to fall pregnant???? If so why use the pull out method you are contridicting yourself in your own question. Yes it works for some YOU but not for everyone my friend has been using that method and she has had 3 abortions because of it, so use some common sense.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend whom I was with for four years.... and never got pregnant. I was with my 2nd bf for nearly 2 years, never got pregnant. With the 3rd for a year, never got pregnant. I got back with the 3rd ex and guess what, I'm now 33 weeks pregnant. Think that if you will, but I know for a fact the pull out method is a crock of sh1t. lol
