Just had two fitted, they are digital and they make such a difference, although they take a little time to get used to. It took me about 6 weeks to get used to the sounds of the world after being fairly deaf for many years. When I went back for my 6 week assessment the audiologist asked me if I had them in as he could not tell as your hair covers them up. One of my ears has major problems and only have 20% hearing in. The hearing aid has made a world of difference.
Go for it and do not worry. They make such a difference to your quality of life and now I am used to them don't even know they are in.
Mine are from the hospital and I am so grateful for them.

The best way is to take her to an audiologist. Even if to start it is to the hearing aid shop so she can see how small they are. That may ease some of her fear.

The strides that have been taken where hearing Aids are concerned are great. They have the little tiny ones that unless you knew where to look no one will ever see it.My mother in law wears one and the only reason we know is she took it out in front of us .We didn;t know she had one.she had been wearing one for over a year.So assure yourself and your daughter that they work and that unless she were to draw some ones attention to it they would never know she has one.

I wear earing aids my self, the old style one are good but the new digital aids which they are producing are far better.
Speak to the audiologist when you take her for more advice.

take her to her doctor. They make them really tiny now. Tell her not to worry because they are even flesh colored and no one will notice.
