Usually American cheese, I've never really tried anything else before. I might have to go with a different kind next time, switch things up a little. lol

I like to use a variety. The last time I used thin slices of
hard cheese and sprinkled it with 4cheese Tex Mex. It
tasted really good.

cheddar or swiss. Sorry but anything but American. It just doesn't taste like real cheese at all.

I almost always use Kraft American slices. I think that it is the best American cheese, so I keep it around for general purposes.

I am a food snob, I like real cheese and bakery breads. But hell, I really like velveeta on plain white bread for my grilled chz.
