Melatonin should work but it might make you groggy if you take too much. You will have to experiment with it. Melatonin is a hormone so I wouldn't try it first. Start with a good Calcium - Magnesium formula. Both of those minerals have a calming effect on the body. Take them before bed. Also try the herb Valerian Root. If those don't work then try Melatonin but start slowly and build up if it is not working or cut back if you are groggy in the morning. Melatonin is the body's natural sleep hormone. ENP has a good Cal-Mag formula and a Sleep (with melatonin) formula too.

There are a number of things you can try. #1 warm milk right before you want to sleep.#2 no caffeine after 3pm.#3 hot bubble bath with Epsom salts. and last but not least a warm cup of tea and a boring book. good luck if these don't help try a sleeping pill and or call your Dr.for one.

L-Tryptopahn in the form of a pill is now available to buy.
I use this all the time and it puts me to sleep within 1/2 an hour of taking it and I manage to stay asleep through the night.
