For a group of people who constantly complain about our national sovereignty, they seem to have very little regard for Iran's.
Guess what: countries are different. They have different values. They govern themselves differently. Get used to it. It's called freedom.

Rajin, the United States has undermined the security and stability of the whole world. Should we lose our sovereignty?

Apparently not, one need only start counting the number of times that agents of the U.S. have interfered in the economies and politics of other nations. Or for a number that's only slightly smaller, try tallying the number of Canadian and Mexican nationals who have been illegally kidnapped by U.S. agents without even the formality of an extradition hearing. And, they're supposed to believe they'll get a fair trial facing our "justice" system.

They can do whatever they want however IF (and I say "if") any country like Iran, N Korea, or perhaps even some future colony on the moon takes steps to develop a nuclear program there is great reason for concern.
Unless of course you're good with the philosophy that everyone should have the bomb. I mean why should only superpowers have them right? Maybe you'd feel better if Libya and and Syria had them too- after all what better serves the balance of world power than an equal playing field right?
Not me.

Every nation has sovereignty! That is until it undermines the security and stability of the region.
Edit: Any nation that represent a clear and present danger to our security needs to be ready for our response! It was better to have a dictator like Saddam out of power! When will you understand that?

As a conservative myself, yes we understand that. I would ask if liberals realize that the Constitution doesn't apply in other countries. It would be nice if other societies had the protections we enjoy, but it is a tough world.
That being said, I get frustrated by Bush's isolationist policies. Reagan didn't bring down the Soviet Union by refusing to meet with them. There is no need to negotiate with terrorist groups, but Iran and North Korea are countries and that is different.

True sovereignty is held by the people under a system of democratic governing.
When sovereignty is held by tyrants and dictators, it is at its weakest and has the least benefit.

Having another nation threaten the existence of one of our closest allies while sponsoring terrorism against us is not a question of sovereignty but a question of security and survival.
Since Iran has such little regard for our freedom ans we have the means to defend ourselves against them, we will use that power to stop them.
Get used to it.

They think that they have a right to take out anyone that they perceive as a threat. I bet they would have a change of tune if their next door neighbor perceived them as a threat and kicked their door in, carrying an arsenal of weapons looking to take out the perceived threat.

Well their sovereignty is fine. They can have their country. I'm fine with that. It's the sponsoring of terrorists and the possibility they might build a nuclear bomb, and USE it is what makes me worrisome.

"and, more to the point, what business is it of yours how another country governs itself?"
You mean the part where the husband takes the kids back to the country and if the wife follows she is stoned to death?
Or the part where changing your religion is an insult to God but they take care of it on earth by stoning?
