when a doctor prescribes suppositories to some one why does it say on the directions do not take orally?

YES! There are really people that are in need of this direction! Have you ever read the directions for Pop Tarts? Did you KNOW there are directions on Pop Tarts?

Sadly, yes. My aunt was a doctor's receptionist and shared many of the dumb phone calls she took.

yes, and also so they wont get sued. Some people need the Warning hot sign to know Hot coffee is Hot. Someone tried to sue Mc Donald's over that.

Yes. People will just stick it in there mouth and not think about it. Girls have died by doing that with the morning after pill.
