Hmm...
When I think of your soul, I think of a mechanism inside of you that keeps you happy and sane... So... I think it would depend a great deal upon whom it is we're talking about.
Some people are made happy by having loving friends and close relationships. For them, the soul would be more closely connected to the heart...
Some people are made happy by having problems to solve and philosophies to ponder. For them, the soul would be more closely connected to the brain...
Some people are made happy by having money and lots of sex. For them, the soul would be more closely connected to the body.

Lol. Just me.

I believe that the soul is connected with the mind by owning and directing it. The mind in turn is connected both with the head and the heart.. but of course what we believe to be the heart oriented functions of the mind are also in fact a part of the head functions.

The drop of water needs the ocean to be one with it. Similarly, the soul needs a connection with the Universe to be one with it! The whole Universe is in the soul and the soul in the whole Universe!

Interesting question. I think it is more connected to the heart because I believe that all souls come from God. When I think of God, I think of unending, unconditional love. When I think of the head (i.e., intellect, thought) I think of it as a limited form of intelligence that is fashioned in this context to help us interpret our surroundings. Often, we express our thoughts with words or symbols. Perhaps there is a greater intelligence that supercedes words Perhaps there will be a more complete form of expression in whatever realm our souls evolve into when we die.

The soul has no relationship with your physical form... It only occupies this space... On a side note though, your head is no more important than your hands or feet... Watch the Polanski movie, The Tenant for more information on this subject... We see with our eyes and think with our brains so we seem to identify ourselves the most with our heads when in fact, our feet are just as much a part of who we are...

The soul is connected most to the part of the body, part of the mind and part of life that needs it most at any one or all the time. My opinion is that the soul can concentrate itself to fill voids that need to be filled, heal wounds that need to be healed, answer questions that need to be answered and so very much more
