Give tweety five, how about:

Celtics center Bill Russell and Celtics guard Bob Cousy winning 6 NBA rings together in a 7 year period and 6 NBA MVP awards together as a tandem

Russell and Cousy combined for the first "alley oop slam dunk" in basketball.

Bill Russell, 11 NBA rings, 5 NBA MVP awards, 4 NBA rebounding championships, something like 11 All NBA teams

Bob Cousy, 6 NBA rings, 1 NBA MVP award, 8 consecutive NBA assists titles, 12 All NBA teams

Or, just going on NBA championships, then center Russell and guard Sam Jones, 10 NBA rings together in 12 NBA seasons as no two teammates have ever combined for more NBA championships, but I would still go with Russell and Cousy who played together but Cousy was older than Russell unlike Sam Jones.

Hard to argue with success, MVP awards, rebounding championship, consecutive assists championship, All NBA teams, and changing the game with inventing the "alley oop slam dunk" which Russell and Cousy were known for.

Russell was undefeated in playoff series against the Knicks Walt Frazier-Willis Reed.

Russell was undefeated in playoff series against the Lakers Jerry West-Wilt Chamberlain.

Malone and Stockton they made each other look good. Without malone scoring, stockton wouldnt have the assists, without the great passing Malone wouldnt have the points. Also look what happen when john left and malone went to the lakers. The lakers had Gary Payton, shaq, and Kobe (blah) but still even with that team malone was still nothing without john they needed each other in basketball so best duo ever belongs to malone and stockton

if you're asking for best duo that had great teamwork, then i'd go with stockton and malone or nash and amare.. both these duos executed the plays, mostly, if not all pick n rolls, close to perfect.. both these duos use the pick n roll with huge devastating effect. these duos, with their plays, are close to unstoppable.. n u couldn't leave any of them open becoz all of them could score.. these two duos are a perfect example of play execution and also their teamwork together. even if stockton or nash, won't look or won't be able to see where malone or amare is, they knew where they were without even looking. they had such a connection and understanding between each other that they knew where each other were at all times. so i'll go with stack n malone and nash n amare.

No doubt Jordan and Pippen, the championship rings explain it all. No other duo has won more championships together.
