After all, Agent Smith Did Come Back..Was this Trilogy Left open For A Purpose?

Smith was a program, was re-written when Neo killed him off in the first movie. A program doesn't need to be deleted. It can be re-written and be totally changed.

I would love to see another Matrix movie in the series. I'm a Matrix fanatic, even played the game Path of Neo.
But the 3rd movie was final, cause the movie was about a war between the machines and Zion, Neo was chosen to fufill a prophecy. Zion won the war.
So the Matrix series would have to start a whole new story, involving the characters. But until or if a new movie is ever made, I'm going to continue enjoying the triology, they are still fantastic.

Agent Smith was a computer generated program therefore he can't die unless he is deleted. Neo was a human so he can die. I don't see that they left it open. Trinity died and Neo died. End of the Trilogy.

Really hoping for another one, the third was my least favorite so it must be the middle man. Bring back Neo!!
