No, I have read that the ice cream companies don't have it like real dough, it wouldn't freeze well or do well in the ice cream or something.
It was on the Food Network once.

No, but good idea! I do prefer cookie dough raw, but it sounds like a fun project if you can pull it off.
I wouldn't think that the makers of the ice cream would bother to put all the ingredients in it though. Why would they use baking soda, for instance? So if it doesn't work, it's not entirely surprising.
