The lower the frequency, the easier it is to travel longer distances and pass through things such as walls, floors, ceilings etc. Higher frequencies are more easily dissipated by such obstacles.

Lower frequenciess travel better. They say wales, with their low frequencie sounds, can communicate over large distances.

because the are so low they cause a stronger vibration
