I don't think it is a mistake and supporting the war is consistent.

Any elected president will have to continue to prosecute this war, and no candidate who promises to pull out the troops immediately is likely to be elected.

The only Democrats who are saying this are ones that are extremely unlikely to be nominated.

Once you take this position you can't retreat from it and the war is not that simple an issue.

yes i do because its a policing action now not a war, the only war they are supporting now is the one back here on our civil rights. why do they think that stripping American rights will stop anything. if Hitler couldn't stop bombings and terror attacks with his laws and lack of needing laws, IE kicking in doors and taking away any one he wanted to. why do we continue to think we can

if we are so adamant to setting up Iraq , lets hand it over to the UN they are a policing force
