The more it's off the longer the batter will last.

It does save the battery if you turn it off every night. I leave mine on all the time 24/7 as it is the only phone I have...My battery lasts about 1 year.

Good Luck!

I leave it on 24/7 and charge it everyday. Apparently your battery can get discharged if you turn the phone off while the battery is still in the phone. When that happens your battery needs a boost or in car terms a jump start (works similar to a car battery). Your battery is designed to be used. So if you charge your battery everyday and don't over charge it. It should give you a long lasting performance.

Usually most cellphones have a very long standby time so it does not make a much difference when u turn off cause the activity in ur cellphone. Cause keeping it turned on wont consume much battery and someone can get in touch with you in case of emergency.

Since my cell is both the only phone I have and my alarm clock, I leave it on all night, plugged in to the charger.
