It depends on your phone and your computer. Most cell phones require special software to be installed on a computer in order for the computer to be able to access the data on the phone.

Assuming its the correct USB cord that came with the phone then all you need to do is connect it to the computer and then go into Windows Explorer. Then go from there.

you have to get a usb cord that is meant for you phone from the store of the service

If you have the right stuff the easiest way is to open my computer, click on removable drive then open my pics folder(or where you want it) and click on the pic and drag it to the folder.
