Okay listen very carefully, you can not let your parents make your life miserable. If you are happy then that is all that matters. Sure it would be nice to have them there but they are not supportive of your happiness. You can not live your life for them! You are a thirty year old woman! Move on with your life with your fiancé and be happy! Plan the wedding with him and your friends if your parents want to help great, if not go ahead with your wedding, marry the man you love. If they are making you unhappy maybe its best they aren’t there. You should have the people who are supportive around you, and people who allow you to be happy. Do not sacrifice you wedding day and your happiness because of your parent’s attitudes. This is one of the most important events in your life, enjoy it! Life it too short to worry about what people think all the time, especially when they are not positive. I don’t know how people who care and love you can say that you are not worthy of marrying someone. That right there tells you that you need to move on, disregard what they have to tell you and be with the person who makes you happy. Don’t listen to them! You are worth love and you are special to people and you deserve a great hassle free wedding. Cut your losses with them… life is hard enough you don’t need people like that making you feel bad about yourself. Good luck.
